• Performing routine PLC and HMI programming assignments • Completing project drawings, following specifications, and PLC logic • Maintaining and modifying graphic libraries, tests and documents modifications, and writing operator instructions • Reviewing objectives and assignment details with higher level staff to ensure thorough understanding • Using judgment in selecting among authorized procedures and seeking assistance when guidelines are inadequate, significant deviations are proposed or when unanticipated problems arise • Working closely with engineering, design, manufacturing, and service teams to ensure seamless operations of equipment • Supporting clients virtually for troubleshooting opportunities when on-site support is not feasible Other duties as assigned Requirements: Minimum 5-10 years experience in SCADA control system programming • Experience developing PLC and / or HMI programs for small to large size SCADA / Telemetry projects • Must be proficient in programing various PLCs and HMIs such as: Allen Bradley, Modicon, SCADA Pak, Siemens and Automation Direct • Experience using one or more of the following industry standard programming software packages: o Aveva System Platform / Citect SCADA o Trihedral VTScada o Inductive Automation Ignition o Schneider EcoStruxure / Unity Pro XL • Must be experienced in standard communication protocols such as: Modbus, DNP3 and Ethernet and would include standard programming language used in water, wastewater and industrial applications • Able to take a functional description of a machine from a Control Narrative and independently write PLC programs for large / complex machinery • Experience with industrial communication networks • Experience with object-based control system design methods • Ability to perform on-site troubleshooting with limited support • Ability to travel up to 20% as needed • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Have the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team members • Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting • Reliable transportation to travel to / from client sites • Bachelor’s degree in
