With associates across 40 countries, Cytiva is a place where every day is a learning opportunity - so you can grow your career and expand your skills in the long term.Forming part of the Biotechnology segment at Danaher, we bring together dedicated technical expertise and talent to develop the next generation of life-changing therapeutics.What you'll do:Lead and manage a team of production planners and master schedulers to define, implement, and execute the site tactical day to day production schedule as well as the 3-to-18-month master production schedule and rough-cut capacity plans.Lead formal and informal problem-solving processes to ensure site on time delivery and lead times meet market expectations and site goals.Identify process and talent gaps to develop direct reports' performance and development objectives to both grow individual team members and meet site and opco needs and objectives.Be accountable for all Master Planning and Production Control activities of the plant within the overall Manufacturing Planning and Control (MPC) framework including rough cut capacity planning, shipment volume forecasting, capacity requirements planning, TAKT time determination, lead time analysis, production order maintenance, production schedule creation and maintenance and all other production planning activities and duties as assigned.Be accountable for monthly delivery metrics for the site including on time delivery, shipment volume vs forecast accuracy, average FG lead times, production plan schedule attainment, and all other production planning KPIs.Work with the distribution planning team to establish a level loaded master production plan for assigned product lines and fulfillment strategy types including engineer-to-order, make-to-order, assemble-to-order, and make-to-stock.Work with the distribution planning team to establish, execute, and maintain the PSI (planning, sales, and inventory) process for the Duncan site.Who you are:Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in supply chain, business, engineering, or another related field and minimum 6 years experience in a production/materials planning role in a manufacturing environment OR Associate's degree from an accredited university or college in supply chain, business, engineering, or another related field and minimum 8 years experience in a production/materials planning role in a manufacturing environment OR High School Diploma / GED and minimum 12 years experience in a production/materials planning role in a manufacturing environmentMinimum 4+ years experience leading a production &/or materials planning team.Minimum 4+ years experience in production/materials planning roles utilizing SAP MRP/ERP systemsDemonstrated experience managing mixed model fulfillment portfolios including engineer-to-order, make-to-order, assemble-to-order and make-to-stock strategies.3+ years experience utilizing continuous improvement methodologies and concepts such as LEAN, Six Sigma, Shainin Red X, or equivalentDemonstrated understanding of Manufacturing Planning and Control and its constituent parts including Sales & Operations Planning, Master Scheduling, Production Control, Distribution Requirements Planning, and Rough-Cut Capacity PlanningIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:APICS CPIM/CSCP Certification or equivalentMaster's Degree in Business or Supply ChainExperience in demand planning/forecasting &/or direct S&OP rolesAt Danaher we bring together science, technology and operational capabilities to accelerate the real-life impact of tomorrow's science and technology.
