Automotive Production Supervisor

Job DescriptionJob Description

Responsibilities:

Manage production employees and manufacturing processes to complete finished goods that meet customer requirements.

Identify and solve problems effecting production output related to quality cost performance manpower equipment efficiency.

Follow Daily, weekly and monthly production schedule.

Work closely with planning to assure customer orders and demands are met within target lead times and on time performance.

Ensure employees are following all safety procedures outlined in company handbook.

Attentive to unsafe behaviors and work conditions.

Ensures managing procedures and work instructions are documented and followed.

Take necessary corrective action when needed.

Work closely with Human Resources to manage adequate staffing needs.

Qualifications:

Minimum Associates Degree in Business or related field.

Minimum 3 year manufacturing experience and production supervision.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

Ability to coach and develop team to achieve company goals.

Strong background in 5S and continuous improvement.

Compensation based on experience and skillset
