The Senior Financial Analyst will focus on financial planning, analysis, and corporate consolidation for a prominent entertainment client based in Burbank, CA. This is a hybrid role, combining remote and on-site work in Burbank.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed short-term and long-term financial forecasts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Credit Profile) to guide future business planning.
  • Ensure data integrity across all platforms, enhancing the quality, completeness, and accuracy of data sources.
  • Coordinate and oversee month-end close processes, including full P&L quarterly forecasts and mid-month updates.
  • Facilitate the annual budgeting process for P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow in collaboration with regional finance teams.
  • Conduct financial analysis comparing actual results to forecasts, identifying key financial indicators and performance drivers to provide insights to senior management.
  • Oversee tracking of CAPEX and Capitalized Labor.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, variance explanations, and presentations for management.
  • Drive and support ongoing process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Assist management in preparing for meetings and budget reviews.
  • Perform various ad hoc analyses related to operational and financial performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration required; MBA preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in corporate or divisional financial planning and analysis, with a strong emphasis on spreadsheet creation and data management.
  • Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with SAP and SPA BPC is a plus.
  • Quick learner with strong work ethic.
  • Self-starter with exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
