Summary of the Role

TRAVEL INSURANCE PRODUCT MANAGER

The Product Development Manager (TRAVEL INSURANCE)is responsible for developing a product portfolio, managing contracts, developing a go-to-market strategy in partnership with the CRO, providing leadership, financial management, and optimizing platform synergy (systems & technology) for the long-term growth of our travel insurance business.

In this position, you will manage all partnerships, underwriters, and internal AXA Partners stakeholder relationships. You will be also responsible for organizing travel insurance product offerings and overseeing all program implementation and channel development aspects. You will have direct responsibility for the travel insurance product and report to the Chief Revenue Officer. You will work cross-functionally across Sales, Account Management, Finance, IT, and operations to ensure client satisfaction and profitable business.

Key Functions & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with and provide product expertise to the NEO team to ensure a successful technology build is developed to support our business today and in the future.
  • Work with underwriters and partners to develop products to meet market demands and optimize AXA's value proposition.
  • Stays abreast of and learns about products, programs, and services available to customers to improve market offering and brand.
  • Recommend, deploy, and ensure conformity to standard technology applications.
  • Utilizes data to evaluate situations and make appropriate recommendations regarding strategic activity, risk mitigation, etc.
  • Standardizes reporting mechanisms to ensure optimal clarity of results and customer satisfaction/alignment.
  • Work closely with the sales team and, as necessary, participate in sales presentations and new business development opportunities to support growth objectives.
