THE ROLE

The Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for overseeing and improving our core manufacturing processes. This includes identifying areas for improvement, maintaining high levels of manufacturing and product quality, and ensuring cost-efficiency and conformance with regulatory standards. This position is also responsible for performing machine troubleshooting and developing new ideas for automated machine improvement by using the latest technology, tools, and methods.

TOP RESPONSIBILITIES

Providing necessary manufacturing and industrial engineering process expertise to improve manufacturing process development tasks.

Leading and supporting Lean activities and 8D's / A3's.

Supporting equipment design upgrades to improve equipment utilization and optimization.

Supporting standard work, ISO documentation, and procedural creation.

Evaluating existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement.

Determining problem resolutions and implementing improvements.

Developing detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflow.

Researching and developing new processes, equipment, products, and cost-saving measures.

Ensuring manufacturing processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards and legal regulations.

Maintain research and activity documentation and prepare reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

BS or higher degree in an engineering discipline- required; Mechanical or Industrial engineering-preferred

Knowledge in packaging, lean principles, MFO optimization, and production line optimization-preferred

Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles

General knowledge of assembly lines and manufacturing installation

Experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery

Able to work extended hours in the event projects go beyond normal work hours.
