Accounts Receivable Supervisor . Establish and maintain receivables in TeamWorks Financials Prepare and track customer invoices Record cash daily bank deposits and ensure that cash receipts and payments are recorded timely Research receipts and ensure receipts are posted to the correct accounts Perform daily cash receipts reviews Use Excel to produce reports This is the entry/training level of the accounting job series. Incumbents at this level may require additional training or experience to gain full proficiency in all or some of the job responsibilities.

There is the opportunity to telework in this position. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Good time management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Critical thinking skills Prioritization and multi-tasking skills Essential knowledge of operating office equipment to include but not limited to computers, copier, fax machines, scanners, answering telephone, and filing. Established experience in using Microsoft Office Suite software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The incumbent will occasionally be required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop and kneel. Occasionally light lifting/or moving boxes or supplies may be required. WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position requires the incumbent to work in an office setting which includes shared office space with other professionals. NOTE: This position may require some travel and operating a state vehicle. A valid Georgia driver’s license is required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Accountant 1 (FIP020; Pay Grade: H) Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college or university Accountant 2 (FIP021; Pay Grade: I) Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college or university and one (1) year of professional accounting job-related experience; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Accountant 1 (FIP020) or equivalent position. Accountant 3 (FIP022; Pay Grade: K) Bachelor's degree in accounting and two (2) years of professional accounting job-related experience; or two (2) years of experience at the lower level Accountant 2 (FIP021) or equivalent position. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: One year of Accounts Receivable processing experience One year of experience using the AR module in TeamWorks (formerly PeopleSoft) or other accounting software.
