Accounting & HR Manager Needed

A multi-location Automotive Repair company in Shelby Township, MI is seeking an experienced Accounting & HR Manager to help in their operations. This person must be able to handle day to day financial transactions. Understand a P/L statement and be willing to prepare monthly financial reports for the owners. In addition, this candidate must be able to facilitate employee onboarding and conduct orientation sessions. This company is very established and growing. They are wanting someone who likes to be apart of a family environment. They also want someone who will help their employees grow in their positions. They need someone who is a team oriented.

What they require:

Accounting:

  • Manage day-to-day financial transactions.
  • Understanding the P/L statements
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and summaries for management review.
  • Collaborate with external accountants for year-end audits and tax filings.
Human Resources:
  • Administer HR functions, including maintaining employee records, processing payroll, and managing benefits administration.
  • Assist in recruitment efforts, including posting job openings and coordinating interviews.
  • Facilitate employee onboarding and conduct orientation sessions.
  • Coordinate training with new hires.
  • Handle employee inquiries and address HR-related concerns in a timely manner.
  • Stay informed about employment laws and ensure compliance with regulations.
