Requisition ID: 73430 Skyworks is looking for Principal Module Design Engineer to join highly successful and energetic Mobile Solution Business team in Irvine, CA As a Module Engineer you will be responsible for design and development of highly integrated cellular front-end Tx/Rx modules incorporating active and passive devices leading to high volume production ramp for mobile markets. You will have opportunities to participate in all phases of product development, including product definition, architecture, system, MCM design, layout, lab debug and production support. BS and 12 years or MS and 8 years or PhD and 5 years of work experience in Electrical Engineering Experience with design simulation tools or equivalent - Agilent ADS, HFSS, APD, Cadence, Orcad Solid understanding of RF concepts such as impedance matching, impedance transformation, distributed systems, passive RLC and resonant circuits, noise, linearity, bandwidth and stability Knowledge of RF Design Architecture - Experience and familiarity with wireless transceiver architectures, system requirements, standards, receiver and transmitter chain sub-blocks (e.g., LNAs, Switches or Power Amplifiers) Knowledge of test parameters and test equipment - Experience and familiarity with testing, evaluation and debugging RF, analog and mixed-signal module designs in a lab environment. Should be proficient in use of network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, signal generators, oscilloscope Relevant experience in PA, RF switches design or multi-chip module (MCM) design including filter and matching networks to support fully integrated front end module designs A self-starter and team player with strong desire to learn on the job Strong desire and commitment to take product from concept to volume production Good communication skills both verbal and written The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD

. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits
