Role

Kimco is currently looking for a Marketing Manager, Eastern Region, to join our team. Based in Kimco’s Jericho, NY headquarters, and reporting to the Senior Director of Regional Marketing, with a dotted line to the Eastern Region President, the Marketing Manager, Eastern Region, has a dynamic role that includes:

Proactive B2B Leasing Support - Direct involvement in day-to-day leasing dialogues, providing an additional layer of support to the leasing team. This includes managing routine email marketing and identifying specific targeted marketing initiatives to support leasing efforts on key vacancies at our retail centers.

B2C Site Activation

B2C Site Activation - Develop and execute marketing plans and strategies that support the Eastern portfolio of shopping centers . This includes creating strategies to increase consumer traffic and retailer sales, and community engagement, thereby enhancing property value.

Social Media Engagement - Developing and executing a robust social media strategy. This involves creating engaging content for platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant platforms, with a focus on supporting both leasing activities and B2C initiatives. Monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of these strategies is crucial.

Responsibilities

Actively participate in leasing team dialogues, identifying and implementing marketing initiatives that support leasing efforts Continuously execute and enhance basic marketing activities, such as email campaigns Target specific leasing opportunities and generate quality leads through strategic marketing initiatives Develop and manage engaging B2B content on social media, particularly on LinkedIn, with a keen eye on metrics and outcomes Explore and implement innovative ways to engage with small businesses and brokers on platforms like Instagram Manage and produce B2C marketing initiatives, including community and charity events Develop and manage sponsorship opportunities that align with the company’s marketing strategy Implement efficient B2C marketing strategies to manage small budget sites effectively Handle other regional marketing activities, including content for regional town halls and assistance in planning team events Assume responsibility for managing a significant marketing budget, focusing on targeted, effective use of resources Position works closely with other departments to ensure that all marketing is in line with company and shopping centers’ brand identities

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, preferably with both B2C and B2B components Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field Demonstrated ability to run social media accounts and engage in marketing or B2B sales A self-starter with a track record of initiative and independent project management Strong familiarity with social media platforms and content creation, including video production Problem-solver/Adaptable: Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners Willingness to travel periodically within the Eastern Region

The expected salary range for this position is between $85,000 and $95,000. The actual compensation will be based on factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, market and business considerations and other factors permitted by law.
