Position Summary: The Global Director of Quality leads multiple teams to ensure compliance of G&W operations to all ISO and GMP requirements. This position is based out of Bolingbrook, IL and will work in concert with G&W's other facilities worldwide on standardizing best practices and improving overall quality performance from engineering concepts through the customer life cycle Primary/Essential Responsibilities: Develop and execute the roadmap to achieve the G&W long-term quality vision. Develop and execute Quality strategies in support of New Product Introduction (NPI) that satisfy near term demands of development programs and support long term vision of transitioning to full rate production. Develop overall culture for continuous improvement in Quality. Evaluate organizational design and recommend improvements to optimize resources. Prepare management reports to review performance of all production areas and overall organization cost of quality Drive use of standardized lean & quality tools, share best practices, and benchmark world class companies to achieve a higher level of Operational Excellence. Manage Capital, Point of Control, and Expense budgets associated with Quality operations and improvements. Develop and maintain the Enterprise Quality Dashboard and score cards by Work Cell, Product Family and Customer. Support and develop a strong Environmental, Health, and Safety culture with the team by following all safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas. Coordinate the execution of other business initiatives with the G&W cross functional team Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field 15+ years total experience, 6+ years management experience with quality and manufacturing Problem solving skills with experience using root cause analysis techniques, with examples Demonstrated strategic leadership accountability Experience working cross-functionally with all levels of the organization structure Experience developing operational yield and process control tracking Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in technical or business Lean Six Sigma, Red X, or other problem-solving certification Previous development and execution of global quality initiatives Why join us?
