MJD Wellness and Community Center, Inc is a 501-C3 healthcare organization located in North Miami Beach, FL. We serve North Miami and surrounding cities in Miami Dade County, with a focus on identifying and utilizing resources for healthcare needs. Our primary purpose is to educate our targeted population about healthcare issues and encourage them to participate in a sound wellness program. We partner with different institutions, including churches, where screening and raw food distribution take place.

Role Description

This is a volunteer role for a Community Fair Planning Volunteer. The volunteer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with planning community fairs, including , organizing event logistics, promoting the fair to the community, and ensuring a successful event. This is a hybrid role, with some work taking place at our location in North Miami Beach, FL, and some remote work. This role only requires 5 hours weekly

  • Community Engagement and Community Management skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in event planning or community outreach is a plus
