**SUMMARY:** The Assistant Human Resources Manager assists in the development and implementation of human resources policies and programs including employee relations, benefits administration, staffing training and development, and investigations of violations of company policy in compliance with all laws and regulations.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Provide guidance, coaching, and support on employee relations.
* Ensure an efficient and thorough onboarding program, including management of HR Trainers.
* Conduct Employee-Focus meetings.
* Promote and ensure compliance of policies and procedures.
* Update job requirements and description and participate in periodic HR audits.
* Support operations maintaining staffing level up to expectation and ensuring proper delivery of weekly metric.
* Partner with operations on on-boarding, attendance, and retention programs.
**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**
This position will have supervisory responsibility.
**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**
* **Required**
* 7+ years of experience in Human Resources in progressively responsible positions OR Bachelors Degree in Human Resources with 3 years of related experience.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Strong computer skills
* **Preferred**
* Bachelors Degree in Human Resources
* Bilingual in both English and Spanish or English and Marshallese
