Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Fills orders by transferring orders to fulfillment, communicating expected delivery date, and explaining stock-outs, some inventory management responsibilitiesResponsible for product knowledge to answer customer questionsResponsible for customer follow-upRoute qualified opportunities to the appropriate Key Account Managers for further development and closureSource new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emailsClose sales and achieving sales targetsUse excellent oral communication and best practices in customer service when interacting with customersStaying informed about competing products and servicesCreating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers.Maintains and improves quality results by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures. Nonessential Functions Develops accounts by checking customer's buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining technical features.Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications:Must have an associate's degree, Bachelor's degree is preferredStrong Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Ability to read and understand drawings and bill of materialsAutomotive experience a plusFamiliarity with SAP is necessaryAdditional RequirementsPass a pre-employment drug test and be able to pass a drug test at any time during employment. Adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Physical Demands: While performing duties of job, incumbent is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close and distance vision. Expected Hours of Work:This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary by schedule and are flexible with manager approval. Evening and weekend work may be required as schedule demands.Travel:This position requires periodic travel, up to 10%. Overnight travel is not anticipated, but may occur. Travel can be both local and international.
