Summary Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Barista / Bartender to prepare, and serve our coffees, teas, and all the hot and cold beverages, the alcoholic beverages and also to know all the items we sell to make the best offer to our customers, looking for exceeding customers' expectations and an excellent guest drinking experience.

To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills and knowledge of how the coffee shop bar operates. You should also be able to work various shifts.

Ultimately, you'll ensure an excellent experience for our guests.

Note: this position's compensation includes salary and tips.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers as they enter
  • Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations.
  • Give customers drink and food menus and answer their questions regarding ingredients
  • Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. dairy and sugar ratios)
  • Prepare beverages following recipes
  • Prepare batches and mix ingredients to prepare cocktails following recipes
  • Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for patrons
  • Check customers' identification and confirm it meets the legal drinking age.
  • Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
  • Keep the work area clean
  • Maintain stock of all that is needed for the best operation of the shift. Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
  • Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
  • Comply with health and safety regulations
  • Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items
  • Open or Close the shift according to the shift assigned
  • Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.

Qualifications:

BARISTA

  • Previous work experience as a Barista
  • Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
  • Knowledge of sanitation regulations
  • Flexibility to work various shifts
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to gauge customers' preferences
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • High school diploma; relevant training is a plus

BARTENDER

  • Resume and proven working experience as a bartender.
  • Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Knowledge of a second language is a plus.
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.
  • Relevant training certificate.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts

FULL TIME AND PART TIME
