Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Administrative Intern, you will primarily work with the executive team to help research, plan, and implement various initiatives related to operations and strategy for HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake. Over the course of the Program, you will become knowledgeable regarding the internal and external forces that shapes hospitals future, internal operations, and its relationship with key stakeholders: patients, providers, payers and the community.

What You Will Do In This Role:

  • You will observe and evaluate operations in determined areas, proposes long-term initiatives, projects or suggests process improvements.
  • You will consult with senior administrative team to identify areas for studying.
  • You will attend and participate in departmental, administrative, and executive level meetings as invited by appropriate staff to gain a comprehensive understanding of organizational structure, operation, and objectives.
  • You will actively support facility community efforts; represent the hospital in the community through participation in community organizations, agencies, speaker bureaus etc.
What qualifications you will need:
  • Bachelors Degree, or enrolled in Bachelors program
  • Masters Degree, or enrolled in Masters program
