Description

Job Summary

The Warehouse Technician will assist with machine refurbishing, cleaning, updating and modification. General warehouse duties as requested by the Service and/of Gaming Warehouse Manager. The position requires an individual with a strong moral character and calm demeanor to operate in a fast-paced environment, performing tasks at customer establishments while maintaining constant awareness of surroundings ensuring a secure environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Maintain strong Customer Service Orientation.
  • Clean, program and refurbish gaming and amusement machines.
  • Assist in moving gaming and amusement equipment from warehouse to customer locations and/or back.
  • Responsible for basic repairs and maintenance of gaming and amusement equipment.
  • Respond to requests for service and assistance in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Promptly report to supervisor any customer needs or customer feedback to help improve customer service.
  • Build, maintain and organize gaming equipment as requested.
  • Assist with loading and unloading freight.
  • General cleaning and maintenance of shop including parking lot.
  • Maintain constant awareness of surroundings and communication.
  • Follow all department, company, and state policies and procedures.
  • Assist in other responsibilities as assigned.
Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Must be insurable by the company.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to pass drug and background checks.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Ability to read, write and use basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, managers, and across functions.
  • Must be organized with strong attention to detail.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee works around gaming and amusement equipment daily. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee is exposed to moderate conditions including temperatures ranging from 50°F to 90°F. Normal conditions are climate controlled.

Physical Demands

The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential job functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands or arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds without assistance, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds without assistance and occasionally lift and/or move more with assistance.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use repetitive motions with upper extremities, feel, reach with hands and arms.

Travel

Travel within the assigned territory will be required for this position.
