Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Optometrist in Sacramento, CA. The Optometrist will be responsible for performing comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing and treating various eye conditions, prescribing corrective lenses, providing pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries, and educating patients on proper eye health and hygiene.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
  • Valid state license to practice optometry in California
  • Experience in conducting comprehensive eye examinations and diagnosing eye conditions
  • Knowledge of various eye diseases and treatments
  • Ability to prescribe and fit contact lenses and eyeglasses
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Dedication to providing high-quality patient care
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Prior experience in a similar role is a plus
