About Bliss Eye Associates

Bliss Eye Associates has provided comprehensive ophthalmology and optometry services in Sacramento and its surrounding communities for over two decades. The practice offers a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services and treatments, specializing in Wavefront Assisted LASIK, Laser Cataract Surgery, Multifocal Implant Lenses, Astigmatism Correction, and Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery. To maintain a competitive edge in the eye care industry, Bliss Eye Associates is looking for a highly skilled Optometrist to join the team of two Ophthalmologists, four Optometrists, and a well-trained staff.

The team of professionals takes a customized approach to eye care and vision correction and provides breakthrough cataract technologies that offer patients an extensive range of options. The practice uses the latest vision care technology to diagnose and treat a wide array of eye diseases and is well-equipped with advanced technology. A highly skilled staff ensures seamless practice operations, enabling the doctors to seamlessly care for patients and spend quality time. The optical boutique offers a wide selection of premium and affordable brands-plus, the Opticians provide personal support to assist customers in selecting the perfect pair of frames for fit and lifestyle.

About the Optometrist Opening

Bliss Eye Associates is seeing a part-time or full-time Optometrist to provide the highest level of individualized care two to five days a week. In this role, you'll perform comprehensive eye care to ensure excellent eye health and vision care. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient with surgical co-management for cataract and refractive surgeries, contact lens fittings, management of glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy, as well as treating acute conditions of the eye. This is an excellent opportunity to work at a well-established Ophthalmology practice and learn from industry experts.

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and compassion for patient health and safety. In addition, the ideal candidate will want to develop skills through mentorship with experienced doctors and integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Optometry license in the state of California
