The Opportunity
DAT is looking for a Site Reliability Engineering Lead to join our SRE platform team. This position will work hybrid in Beaverton, OR or Denver, Colorado.
Candidate profile
DAT is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineering Lead to help grow our SRE practices. In this role, you will be responsible for leading major technical initiatives and mentoring engineers to enhance their skills. You'll work closely with platform architects and management to achieve critical reliability goals.
What You'll Do
- Assist and respond to critical engineering incidents
- Lead and mentor SRE engineers to improve their technical skills.
- Provide technical guidance and best practices for cloud infrastructure.
- Spearhead major reliability-focused initiatives and projects.
- Collaborate with platform architects and management to ensure reliability targets are met.
- Migrate legacy systems to modern, scalable cloud environments.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, especially with SRE teams.
- 3+ years of software engineering experience (JavaScript, Python, Goland, C++, etc)
- Strong incident management skills.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
- Demonstrated success in leading large technical initiatives.
- Proven experience migrating legacy technologies to managed cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to work closely with both platform architects and management to drive key reliability improvements.
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, automation, and best practices for reliability.

The maximum compensation for this role can vary significantly depending on your job-related skills and experience.
