Profession: Patient Care Technician Job Location: Seattle, WA 98104Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 15:30) Job Duration: 13 WeeksDescription: Must have CNA L-NC WA license Position / Specialty: Inpatient PCT Start date: 8/14/2024 Shift: 2x12s and 2x8s, 0700-1930 and 0700-1530 days, weekends, 1 on-call per month Required to work all scheduled shifts, facility cannot accommodate scheduling requests outside of approved RTO Years of experience REQ: 1 year First-timers accepted: (Y/N): Yes Weekend REQ: 2 full weekends per contract Certs REQ: BLS, CNA cert, L-NC WA license Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes to AC/ICU units Job description: Under supervision, the Hospital Assistant will assist the medical and nursing staff by performing delegated tasks that involve direct patient care; transportation of patients, supplies and specimens; ordering and stocking of supplies; and maintenance/set up of special equipment and front desk support. Participates in unit and selected departmental activities to promote effective problem solving and communication. PCT can do blood sugar check CNA/PCT can do quality control once per day. Prefers clinicians with inpatient hospital experience, will consider candidates with LTC or Home Health experience.
