Our Operations team is responsible for import logistics and merchandising payables, order processing, warehousing, distribution, shipping & invoicing. Operations is also responsible for all DWs IT needs, which includes hardware and network support and Filemaker and Dynamics GP development.

We are seeking an Order Entry/Processing Associate to join the team. The ideal candidate will be passionate, self-motivated, eager to learn and able to execute these essential responsibilities:

  • Manage Order Entry/Processing for Manual Orders.
  • Obtain factor approval for all orders before processing.
  • Perform order allocation prior to shipment.
  • Send orders to shipping department for warehouse processing
  • Follow up with order status and send information to Sales team regarding status of orders.
  • Generate weekly order status reports for management.
  • Communicate and maintain retailer compliance information.
Job Requirements
  • 2+ more years of data-entry experience, with demonstrated accuracy in past work
  • Familiarity with Direct to Consumer Web Orders and EDI Order Processing is a plus but not required (we use TrueCommerce for EDI)
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations is a plus
  • Ability to understand and report issues in a professional manner to the sales team is required
  • Familiarity with retailer compliance concepts
  • PC Knowledge MS Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.) is required; Microsoft Dynamics a plus
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
