We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Temporary Dental Hygienist to join our team from Aug. 14th 2024 through Nov. 19th 2024 to cover during maternity leave. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings and assist the dentist in various procedures. If you are passionate about oral health and providing exceptional patient care, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, root planning, and polishing
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Conduct thorough oral examinations and assess patients' oral health
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for at-home care
- Administer local anesthesia as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care

Qualifications:
- Valid Dental Hygiene license in CT
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Knowledge of dental anatomy, oral health conditions, and treatment options
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix
- Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients on oral health practices
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred but not required

We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
