Role: SAP Project Manager

Location: Casa Grande, AZ

Job Summary:

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of SAP systems across our logistics and warehouse operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of SAP modules related to logistics and warehouse management, as well as strong project management skills to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage SAP implementation projects within the logistics and warehouse domains.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, logistics, warehouse staff, and external consultants.
  • Ensure that project objectives are met and deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Facilitate change management and training activities to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for SAP implementation.
  • Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) as a Project Manager, with a focus on SAP implementations in logistics and warehouse management.
  • Strong understanding of SAP modules related to logistics (e.g., SAP WM, SAP EWM, SAP TM).
  • PMP or other relevant project management certification is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Experience with change management and training in a large-scale implementation context.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
  • Background in supply chain management.
  • Knowledge of warehouse automation technologies.
  • Experience in agile project management methodologies.
