JOB REQUIREMENTS: Fincantieri Marinette Marine, a Fincantieri MarineGroup Company, is a progressive shipyard specializing in building shipsfor the United States Navy. We currently have an opportunity for aWarehouse Managerat our Marinette, Wisconsin location. POSITION SUMMARYThe Warehouse Manager is responsible and accountable for all Warehouseprocesses and procedures related to material receipt, storage,distribution. Facility Safety, Security and provides supervision anddirection to Warehouse Foremen, Clerks and union personnel in thematerial handling trade working in the Warehouse. Includes theGovernment Warehouse area and any offsite Warehoused material. ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Material Management Control Systems Designand develop processes, procedures and controls that assure materialcontrol/accountability from receipt, storage and distribution toproduction. Review and evaluate the organizations material managementoperations, update or develop process documentation, streamlineopportunities, and eliminate non-value added activities. Provideleadership guidance and training for direct reports and other elementsof the organization to establish clear process discipline expectations.Audit processes, procedures and individuals to assure process disciplineand individual accountability. Emergent Material Issues Coordinating theefficient resolution of emergent material issues to support dailyproduction operations, maintaining system integrity and materialaccountability. Assist with prioritization of emergent material issueswith PP&C Material Management Group. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Safetyand Security of the Warehouse facility, personnel and material. Enforcesall organizational policies and procedures. Manages and directs salaryForemen and Clerks. Manages and directs union hourly personnel in thematerial handling trade assigned to the Warehouse IAW the terms andconditions of the collective bargaining agreement. Manages theGovernment Warehouse area and any offsite warehousing. Assumes ownershipand responsibility for all material received, store, and distributed toproduction. Manages work schedules, shifts and overtime to meetproduction demands. Evaluates and provides training requirements forstaff. Provides performance evaluations for salary employees. Generatesthe annual Capital Improvements Request for tooling, equipment andfacilities. Manages the Warehouse Departments Annual Budget.Monitors... For full info follow application link.
