Our client, a leading electrical distribution equipment engineering and supply company, is looking for a Korean Bilingual Project Engineer in Fort Lee, NJ. Job Title: Korean Bilingual Project Engineer Location: Fort Lee, NJ Duration: Permanent Client: a leading electrical distribution equipment engineering and supply company Pre-Screening Questions: Do you speak both Korean and English fluently? Do you have an engineering background (either education or experience - Industrial, construction, electrical, manufacturing, or similar)? Key Points: Important Requirements: Korean language skills and an engineering background (education or experience). Level: Entry-level candidates are also welcome. Location: Mainly at our Fort Lee, NJ office, with some domestic and overseas travel. Extended trips over a month will be well compensated with overtime and per diem. About Us: We specialize in industrial construction projects, serving some of the largest Korean and global manufacturing and EPC companies, as well as the US Military in Korea. Our Fort Lee, NJ-based office is the primary work location, though occasional travel to manage large-scale projects may be required. Prolonged business trips over one month will be well compensated with an overtime per diem structure. Responsibilities: Assist in preparing electrical packages for private and public development bids. Manage the shipping and delivery of items from manufacturers to end users. Evaluate and implement new company strategies and procedures. Ensure project deadlines and cost targets are met. Maintain and organize required project documentation. Serve as a liaison between suppliers and end users. Travel to project sites to assist on-field engineers in analyzing electrical drawings and specifications. Assist field service personnel with equipment startup, troubleshooting, and training. Qualifications: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines. Strong leadership qualities. Preferred: Engineering or project management background. Experience Level: Preferably experienced, but entry-level candidates will also be considered. Education: Minimum of a 2-year college degree or equivalent job experience. Open to technical school graduates; college degrees are not required. Candidates with a "can-do" attitude are highly valued. Technical skills: Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. AutoCAD experience preferred. Certificates: FE/PE preferred but not required. Legal work permit including OPT (STEM). Korean language proficiency required.
