Description1JOB TITLE: PR Account ExecutiveDEPARTMENT: Public RelationsREPORTS TO: PR Account SupervisorLOCATION: Las Vegas, HybridABOUT THE ROLER&R Partners, a full-service integrated agency, is seeking a Public Relations Account Executive to support the Visit Las Vegas consumer PR program. The Account Executive will have a passion for storytelling and media relations for the industries we serve. Candidates must have 4+ years of media relations and influencer management experience with demonstrated results. Experience working in the travel and tourism industry, and/or agency experience, preferred.WHAT YOU'LL DOSupports daily activities for primary and other designated accounts as part of an account team Supports media relations programming; Contributes 50 percent of time to proactive media relationsServes as the day-to-day resource for media contacts and provides support for client communicationsCollaborates on new, fresh story concepts and proactively pitches them to relevant mediaOrganizes, implements, secures and manages client media familiarization tours and local market visits; staffing as neededAssists with development and implementation of PR strategic plan initiatives, under supervisionCreates client materials such as press releases, media alerts, photo captions, pitches to journalists, and fact sheetsSupports program reporting on an ongoing basisAssists with client relations through meetings (in person or virtual), events and general contactOversees preparation of meetings, agendas, notes and reports Assists with account budgets, resources and project deadlines Keep up to date with the latest industry news and social media trends to provide recommendationsProactively prioritizes and understands the objectives of clientWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORA team player whose qualities and motivations align with our agency's core values - fearless, integrity, advocacy, impact, ingenuity and foresight.4+ years of communications experience in the travel industry BA or BS in public relations, journalism, communications or related fields Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Previous experience supporting media relations, pitching journalist, arranging press trips and staffing events Excellent writing skills, with a strong attention to detail Utilizes social media tools and has adeptly integrated social media into public relations initiatives.Experience with media monitoring software, news wires, MS Office Passion for the travel, tourism and hospitality industry and the ability to spot trends.
