Job Purpose

Assist in managing our portfolios of US structured finance funds (Hedge funds & Long only mandates)

Key Accountabilities

  • Assist in the managing and monitoring of portfolios of US structured finance instruments.

    Prepare reporting for the funds, specifically in the areas of risk and performance by generating and updating reports on a monthly basis.
  • Design marketing materials with up-to-date performance as well as relevant economic data in order to assist in the marketing efforts of the platform.
  • Conduct market research, attend conferences, perform manager due-diligences and analysis on certain assets and asset classes held by the fund, in an effort to better understand them and provide timely/relevant information.
  • Perform daily operations for the funds (such as trade booking), supervise middle office, and review the monthly valuation reports prepared by the administrator.
  • Lead operational improvements & structuring projects (negotiation of financing and derivatives contracts, maintain fund positions in systems, supervise fund expenses etc.)
  • Participate in the development of new products for our US platform: design pitches / presentations, model portfolio, meet clients, understand client needs and grow into the portfolio manager position for the new products launched
Role Requirements

Education/Qualification
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, Engineering or a related field.
Experience
  • About 2 to 4 years in Fixed Income or Structured Finance
Knowledge and Skill
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Result oriented with a growth mentality
  • Proficiency in Fixed Income financial modelling and data analysis
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The pay range for this position is from $90000 to $130 000. Actual pay will be determined based upon the individual's skills, experience and location. We strive for market alignment and internal equity with our colleagues' pay.
