As the Quality Supervisor, you will establish, implement and maintain the processes for the Quality Management System (QMS). What you'll do on a typical day: Execute the QMS according to documented policies and procedures, meeting the requirements of the applicable international quality standards Review the QMS at planned intervals to ensure its continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness, including assessing opportunities for improvement and the need for system changes Provide high-level reporting on the performance of the system and any recommendations for improvement Serve as the site audit authority for all internal and external company audits Post all company quality policies and address policy training to make sure it is understood, implemented and maintained at all levels Ensure that facility/departmental training, status and setup is reviewed at the required frequency and that the training requirements are met in a timely manner Execute corrective and preventive actions, including initiation and recommendation of solutions, and project management; verify solution has been implemented until defect has been corrected Implement quality initiatives at facilities as required

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need: 2 years of relevant work experience Experience with Microsoft Office and computerized scanner equipment Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends

It'd be great if you also have: Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field 2 years of managerial/supervisory experience Bilingual English/Spanish Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); material handling equipment and storage medium, distribution and inventory management; ERP systems, LEAN warehousing, ISO, QMS and meeting facilitation Knowledge of OSHA, Environmental Health and Safety, and Material Safety Data Sheets regulations and compliance Ability to generate quality metrics and reports

This job requires the ability to: Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights Stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
