Duties & Responsibilities:The Supervising Behavior Clinician (Clinician II) serves as a member of the Community Strategies of MA (CSMA) Clinical Department, working collaboratively with the CSMA Operations teams, to support adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, varying mental health diagnoses, and behavioral challenges.The Supervising Behavior Clinician is dedicated to addressing the unique behavioral and mental health needs of the individuals living in CSMA residential and/or shared living placements. They are responsible for the development and delivery of clinical services using the principles of Positive Behavior Supports (PBS).The Supervising Behavior Clinician collaborates with members of the CSMA team to identify challenges within the environment, create support plans to increase positive behaviors and social skills to promote overall independence, and prove training/modeling to direct care staff in the homes.The Supervising Behavior Clinician supervises assigned Behavior Clinicians and participates in the intake process for individuals referred to CSMA programs.Job Qualifications:Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field requiredBCBA/LABA, LCSW, LICSW, LMHC or related Massachusetts licensure requiredIn lieu of licensure, ability to obtain license/certification within 90 days of employment requiredExperience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, or behavioral challenges requiredFirst Aid/CPR, PABC Crisis Prevention and Intervention certifications to be obtained within first 60 days of employment and maintained throughout employmentAbout UsCommunity Strategies (CS) supports adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities through specialized services that include Day Programs, Shared Living arrangements with providers, as well as over forty community-based group homes. Social Justice Services (SJS), supports those leaving incarceration to make positive, sustainable life transitions through residential and non-residential programs. Behavioral Health (BH) has worked to break cycles of violence, crime, and incarceration by providing client-centered interventions and support services to empower and strengthen individuals, families, and communities. BH provides domestic violence treatment and education, community reentry services, mentoring programs, and intensive outpatient programs. The Crime and Justice Institute (CJI) is a non-profit organization working at the local, state, and national level to improve public safety and the delivery of justice.
