Job Overview
As a Senior Litigation Attorney at State Farm's corporate headquarters in Bloomington, Illinois, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's litigation strategy. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive litigation strategies for complex cases, collaborating with outside counsel to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Supervise and manage litigation teams, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless execution of case plans.
  • Analyze complex legal issues and provide expert advice on litigation matters, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, external partners, and internal teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends, applying knowledge to inform strategic decisions.

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an American Bar Association (ABA) accredited law school and excellent academic credentials.
  • Active law license to practice law in at least one state and a member in good standing of the bar.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in litigation, preferably with a focus on class action, MDL, bad faith, and litigation matters.
  • Proven track record of delivering results-oriented solutions, driving business growth, and fostering collaborative environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.

Compensation Package:

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000-$180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
