**Responsibilities:**

This position exists to assist in implementing the AmeriHealth Caritas Family of Companies Enterprise Business Continuity Program. The Business Continuity Program ensures the organization can respond to events that would disrupt normal business operations. This position's responsibility includes assistance in coordinating the design, development, maintenance, and exercising (testing) of Crisis Management, Emergency Response, Business Recovery, and Pandemic Preparedness plans. Research and provide information on current trends and best practices.

+ Facilitate the integration of IS Disaster recovery plans with Crisis Management, Emergency Response, Business Recovery and Pandemic Preparedness plans.

+ Supports the build-out of the Enterprise Business Continuity framework to ensure a common enterprise approach to the program's governance, development, execution, and sustainability.

+ Ensures that all business continuity activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, and in concert with the enterprise risk framework.

+ Participates in internal/external audits and regulatory inspections on business continuity.

+ Assisting with the business risk analysis process against corporate functional areas to identify points of vulnerability and recommend disaster avoidance and reduction strategies.

+ Assisting with the execution of awareness training.

+ Supports leadership and management in the event of an actual disaster or emergency response.

+ Participate in crisis and emergency management and may require after-hours support.

**Education/ Experience:**

+ Bachelors Degree in Business or Information Technology or equivalent experience.

+ 3 to 5 years of Business Continuity and/or Disaster Recovery plan development, testing, and execution experience.

**Other Skills:**

+ BCP or DR certification or equivalent experience.

+ Project Management experience desired.
