Responsible for researching and ordering items and equipment needed in the completion of maintenance activities, processing and allocating items needed for preventative maintenance, monitoring inventory and distribution of tools and equipment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES
- Purchases and issue tools to appropriate personnel and records transaction, maintains accurate records;
- Coordinates with Tool Crib attendant to monitor usage of tools and equipment and ensure tools are readily available for maintenance and shop personnel;
- Requisition new tools and equipment as needed, for use and tool crib supply stocks;
- Monitors use of PPE and other resources, researches and recommends replacements when due
- Maintains accurate supply amounts and usage reports for PPE vending machines;
- Assist in the management of preventative maintenance and work order program.
- Communicates directly with service providers, vendors, and maintenance contractors to schedule repairs, servicing, preventive maintenance, and other projects;
- Creates and maintains running cost spreadsheets for maintenance purchases;
- Facilitate a team work approach between maintenance and other departments;
- Provide a timely response to all requests and inquires;
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Regular and reliable attendance.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. The range may vary by location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Career Requirements
- High School diploma.
- 6 months- 1 year related experience.
- Excellentverbal and written communication skills;
- Organizational skills; analytical/problem solving skills;
- Computer knowledge; ability to learn new programs quickly;
- Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Must be familiar with various tools and their repair and maintenance;
- Basic math and inventory skills.
- LEAN knowledge a plus.
- UpKeep maintenance system experience a plus.
- Frequent communication with others to exchange information.
- Frequent repetition of motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- Frequent moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
- Occasional adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions.
- Constantly remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Constant use of computer for prolonged periods.
- Constantly thinking and processing information.
- Constantly maintaining concentration and focus on tasks.
- General office environment.
- May require occasional exposure to production areas with airborne particles, loud noises, and extreme heat and cold. Personal protection equipment is required when entering a manufacturing plant.
