Director of Training - Urgent Care Services - Vinings, GA
Primarily responsible for independently providing training program and materials for clinic level personnel, including all procedures and equipment related to urgent care and other service lines (Telemedicine, Occ Med, etc.). Must develop close relationships with the Directors of Operations and Clinical Champions. We look for someone who can help create the ideal training program for urgent care services and help ensure our staff are trained well and comfortable in delivering excellent services.
The ideal candidate possesses a knowledge of urgent care procedures as well as a clinical knowledge of urgent care and family medicine services. Candidate should also be able to train trainers and staff as well as conduct clinic audits. Solid communication skills, including presentation, verbal and written abilities are vital.
Primary Job Duties

  • Responsible for new hire training and continuous training of current employees
  • Ability to generate easy to understand, comprehensive program materials for new hires.
  • Lead the monthly and ad-hoc meetings with the Regional Clinical Trainers and/or Regional Clinical Champions and support them where needed and required.
  • Manage the quality of work performed by staff.
  • Provide communication and follow up to ensure staff is fully informed on all new information related to products and procedures.
  • Ensuring resources are available for all clinics and all proper procedures are being performed.
  • Develop process of ensuring clinical equipment is properly maintained and used.
  • Manage certifications of clinical staff.
  • Work with Regional Director of Operations, Senior Directors of Operations and other leaders to develop specific training programs where needed.
  • Travel by car throughout region for training is required (mileage stipend is provided)
Job Qualifications
  • Minimum of two years working at an urgent care or primary care practice.
  • Preferably licensed as a LPN or RN with active license.
  • Previous clinical training experience required, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Previous experience developing training materials, training programs and strategy.
  • Ability to develop and measure metrics associated with training effectiveness and competency.
  • Proficient with Outlook email, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
