This position is ideal for an enthusiastic early career finance professional looking to join a team supporting the overall finance requirements of the STARS Program. This position provides the opportunity to be a part of a large team of analysts who embrace collaboration, training, and individual growth to ensure success as individuals and as a team. What You Will Do: You will provide weekly and monthly cost and performance monitoring and reports inclusive of monthly Earned Value reporting. You will support updates to ETCs, along with the development of quarterly EACs consistent with company policy. You will perform detailed financial analysis to include understanding of monthly variances to budget baseline and EAC positions, along with Latest Revised Estimates (LREs). You will review and implement approved Baseline Change Requests (BCRs) based on Baseline Change Notices (BCNs). You will work in a process-driven environment and communicate requirements across diverse program teams and functional areas. You will build relationships with Control Account Managers (CAMs) and Work Package Managers to ensure understanding and compliance of Earned Value metrics reported monthly. You will support inquiries, investigations, and various ad hoc reporting and analysis as required. You will follow established standards regarding financial policies and compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements. You will work in a hybrid capacity with onsite presence 1-2 days per week per the needs of the program. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience in accounting or finance or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position. Must have experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Qualifications We Prefer: Experience working in financial systems SAP, PRISM, Business Warehouse or equivalent.
