St. Ann Description **New Wage Scale with Rates starting between $14 and $15.42 per hour, depending on experience**

St. Ann Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, in Dover, NH is a 54-bed facility offering short and long-term care in a warm and supportive atmosphere where residents are cared for according to their individual needs. We are proud to be a part of Catholic Charities New Hampshires continuum of care.
We currently have a full-time Housekeeper / Floor Tech position open in our Environmental Services Department. Our ideal candidate must be dependable, self-motivated, able to work independently, and be meticulous in the level of service provided to our residents. This position is scheduled for 37.5 hours/week, including every other weekend. Well pay you based on your experience and offer you a great work environment with generous benefits, including 401(k) plan, medical, dental, life and disability insurance, along with other fringe benefits. ***Additionally, we are also offering a retention bonus of $500 paid in 3 increments (30 days, 60 days and 6 months) for any full time Housekeepers hired before 12/31/2021.***
**Duties**
Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions and specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments and established policies and procedures.
Ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner and that our residents and their personal belongings are handled with respect and care. Maintain confidentiality of all resident related care information to ensure residents rights are protected.
Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing staff when performing daily and routine assignments in resident areas.
Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, etc., in resident rooms, recreational areas, etc., using proper cleaning/ disinfecting solutions.
Perform proper cleaning procedures when a resident is discharged and/or transferred to another room/area as well as clean any vacant rooms as directed.
Perform custodial functions and specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments.
Perform assigned tasks in accordance with established custodial policies and procedures.
Clean floors, to include sweeping (with mop spray), damp/wet mopping, stripping, refinishing, buffing, disinfecting, etc.
Clean carpets, hallways, stairways, elevators, vacant rooms, as directed.
Requirements Must be willing to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and receive first dose prior to starting
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Be dependable.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner.
Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
Must have patience, tact, and a cheerful disposition.
Must be able to relate to the residents and staff of the facility.
