RES is now accepting applications for a Proposals Coordinator, for our Houston, Texas; Chicago, Illinois; Richmond, Virginia; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; or Lafayette, Louisiana office. This is a key position in our Sales team that will lead proposal processes and help support our growing nationwide footprint. You will have the opportunity to work with team members across departments and functions, providing proposal coordination and compilation of business information, prequalification and business registration applications, best practices, and stats on RES projects, forms, and proposal deliverables. Time management and attention to detail are essential for this position, as you will manage multiple deliverables simultaneously to meet their respective delivery timetables. What your day-to-day might look like? 50% of your time, you will be producing and delivering prequalification applications, grant applications, and proposals, making sure they are complete and consistent with RES and client requirements. This means you will be organizing, editing, formatting, and developing graphics and tables yourself, but also coordinating writing assignments and data collection among multiple authors. You will compile resumes, project descriptions, standard and example text, and other information from a variety of internal and external databases. Be ready to showcase your outstanding written and verbal communication skills during the interview 20% of the time you will be managing proposal delivery logistics . This means you will be organizing kick-off and planning calls. The objective is to deliver applications and proposals that meet public sector clients’ procurement requirements during prequalification and bid submittal processes. This includes management of content and deadlines from external subcontractors. You will also manage the content library, archiving and maintaining the organization of proposal and project application content. 20% of your time, you will be managing internal timelines for prequalification and registration renewals. You will track and complete vendor registrations and prequalification statuses, renewals, and expiration dates. 10% of your time, you will be doing knowledge management. This means you will be analyzing past processes to gather lessons learned and positive actions at the submittal of applications and proposals to enable process improvement and higher win rates. You will research and summarize client prequalification and procurement processes. You will then share your conclusions with the team.
