Cabinet Designer / Engineer Akron, Ohio area JOB #24-00186

Salary Range: $80k to $90k - Permanent Position / Benefits

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Akron, Ohio area Manufacturer of Retail Displays / Exhibits and Commercial Cabinets is seeking an experienced Cabinet Designer / Engineer who has utilized AutoCAD and/or Cabinet Vision CAD software to produce layout / construction & assembly drawings.

REQUIREMENTS:

Associate degree or Trade / Technical School or Higher-Level of Education plus a minimum of 3 years of design utilizing AutoCAD and/or Cabinet Vision CAD software.

Candidates need to have CNC programming / editing experience to create machine cut paths, and to operate routers, drills and dowel, chop saws, and panel saws.

Candidates must be able to analyze part geometry and create toolpaths, choosing the right tool, and selecting the speed and feed rates

Candidates should have experience creating designs for built in wooden cabinets, fixtures, shelves, desks, closets, drawers and office furniture configuring for countertop construction.
Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills having experienced with Microsoft software.
