Join Our Team as an Ambulance Technician

Position: Ambulance Technician

Type: Regular Full-Time (40 hrs/week)

Pay: $17 - $18.50 per hour (Starting pay may increase based on experience)

Work Hours:

  • Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
  • Friday: 7:30am - 2:00pm

Breaks:

  • 10:00am - 10:15am
  • 2:30pm - 2:45pm (Monday - Thursday)
  • Lunch: 12:00pm - 12:30pm
Position Description:

Are you skilled with power tools and have a knack for assembly? We’re looking for talented individuals to join our Assembly department, where you’ll use your expertise to build and assemble emergency vehicles.

What You’ll Do:

  • Use a variety of power tools (both electrical and air powered) to assemble emergency vehicles.
  • Perform carpentry-related tasks, including trim work and measuring.
  • Assemble vehicle exteriors by installing doors, lights, and other components.
  • Work with tools such as compound miter saws, band saws, drill presses, and more.

Tools You Need to Bring:

  • Standard wrenches (3/8" to 4")
  • Standard screwdrivers (flat-head and Phillips-head #6-#8)
  • Standard socket sets (1/4" and 3/8" drive)
  • Channel locks
  • Side cutters
  • Tape measure
  • Needle nose pliers

Tools You Should Be Familiar With:

  • Compound miter saws
  • Band saws
  • Radial arm saws
  • Drill presses
  • Table grinders
  • Jig saws
  • Routers
  • Die grinders
  • D/A sanders
  • Cut-off tools
  • Hand drills and drivers


Work Experience

What We’re Looking For:
  • Dependable individuals with a good attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Experience in carpentry or mechanical assembly is a plus.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand written instructions.
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  • Previous automotive manufacturing experience is a bonus.
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime.
Working Conditions:
  • Typical automotive manufacturing shop environment (hot/cold/dusty).
  • Manual labor involving reaching, standing, kneeling, bending, stooping, and twisting.
  • Working in tight spaces within the ambulance interior.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform a variety of tasks and adapt to various physical positions throughout the workday.
