As a **Customer Representative II (CSR II)** is responsible for duties related to enrollment, payment, financial assistance, and general inquiries from customers and potential customers. The CSR II has the first contact with our customers and plays a key role in the Y's purpose by helping parents enroll their children in affordable, quality childcare This is a full-time, non-exempt position based out of the EAC Business Office.

**Pay Rate:** $15.00 per hour

* Responsible for enrolling children in the childcare program

* Respond to inquiries from the public

* Conduct fee assistance interviews and determine client eligibility for financial assistance

* Process enrollment applications, adds and drops, and waitlists

* Provide billing and payment information to clients

* Process Housing Authority verification requests

* Compile enrollment and attendance data and maintain related files and records for each child

* Serve as backup for opening the safe in the morning and closing the register in the evenings.

* Provide backup coverage for the receptionist/operator/customer service representatives, as needed

* Adhere to YMCA policies

* Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Ability to read and record information, communicate effectively (verbally and in writing), maintain emotional control under stress, regular sitting, walking, reaching, bending, lifting, and standing. Must be able to routinely lift 10 lbs., and occasionally lift 40 lbs. Driving of an organization vehicle will occasionally be required

**What you bring to the Purpose:**

* **Education and Experience:** You have an Associates' degree or two years of college. You have one year of customer service experience. Or equivalent combination of education and experience. You are familiar with Microsft Excel and Word programs. Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred, not required.

* **Availability:** You can work 8:00am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm, Monday through Friday.
