This position is located in our Germantown, MD office.Job Responsibilities:Develop process, programs for New Product Introduction (NPI) and high-volume production line and support production across multiple configurations of assembly lines.Coordinate with engineering and design team regarding new process related experiments and provide feedback on tasks performed.Communicate with suppliers and third-party vendors in designing and developing new equipment to automate high volume production line.Lead a team of dedicated production staff, provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to optimize their efficiency and skill development.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and quality assurance, to drive continuous process improvement initiatives and ensure alignment with company goals.Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesBasic Requirements:Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field plus 1 year experience in process design and optimization OR Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field plus 5 years' experience in process design and optimization. Experience must include 1 year in each of the following: simulation and modeling; CAD/CAM; cross-functional collaboration; Six Sigma/LEAN concepts; and experimental design principles.Also requires certification in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and certification in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.
