We are hiring teammates during our job fair from the Hattiesburg Holiday Inn Express conference center, from 8 am to 5 pm on 24 and 25 June 2024.CGS is seeking to hire a temporary Logistics Support Team Member to join our team in support to XCTC Army National Guard training. We are looking for hard-working teammates who will work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Your job duties will include general outdoor work and will be trained in installation equipment such as multiple integrated laser systems (MILES).Essential Functions:Be trained to install communication equipment, global tracking sensors, and multiple integrated laser systems (MILES) for military trainingTrouble shoots trackers and MILES equipment reports any defaults to FSR and/or Property SpecialistLoad/unload equipment under the supervision of a team leadAssist in set-up and preparation of training lanes and training sitesResponsible for set-up and teardown of I&C towers, equipment, and AAR sitesWork in a warehouse issuing and receiving equipment and conducting property inventoriesWork outside on a military training area doing physical labor such as setting up tents, moving equipment, and replacing batteriesCollects refuse and salvageable materials, marries/unmarries MILES equipment to MILES harness, assist in RSOI validation and Reverse RSOI to account for Tracker Harness and other MILES equipment issuedIf required, transport personnel and equipment within the local areaAssist in install/deinstall of vehicle instrumentationRequirements:Pass a background check. Do not apply if you have a felony conviction or an arrest warrant.Have a valid Driver's License and able to safely drive a 12-passenger van or full-size pick-up truckAbility to safely lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.Able to work in an outdoor environment using military tents and portable restroomsHard worker, show up on time, work well with othersEducation: N/AExperience: N/AWorking Conditions: natural conditions outdoorsJob Type: Seasonal/TemporaryWork Hours: 8-12 hour shifts, 6-7 days / week, for a total of up to 6 weeks.
