HOW YOU WOULD BE SPENDING YOUR TIME AS A STAFF ACCOUNTANT

The Staff Accountant works closely with construction project teams to accurately track and support overall project performance.

Works directly with accounting team members including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll.

Reconciles and ensures accuracy for select balance sheet accounts.

Accrues sales tax liabilities and processes adjustments and returns monthly.

Provides support as needed to project teams to ensure expense reports are submitted on time.

Records change orders in the accounting system accurately and promptly.

Coordinates with project teams to review projects for completion and imitates the process to close out jobs in the accounting system.

Provides timely and accurate responses to ensure smooth project operations.

You have 2 - 5 years of financial accounting experience, preferably in construction.

You have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar.

You are an excel expert.

You have experience with Sage 300, Concur, and/or Procore software.

You have strong interpersonal skills and love working in a collaborative environment.

You are detail oriented with excellent problem solving skills.

You are able to pass our required background check.
