  • Summer Internships: Monday, May 19, 2025 (40/hours per week max)

The Finance Systems Intern will work on a team that oversees the installation, routine maintenance, upgrades and daily support of the network, server and storage software. This role assists in the day-to-day operation of Workiva's systems, and is constantly looking for ways to better meet internal customer needs.


What You'll Do

  • Monitor, maintain, and enhance systems to ensure optimal performance

  • Review system performance consistently, including alerts and notices, and taking appropriate action quickly to prevent downtime

  • Install, configure, upgrade and maintain end user computing and telecommunication systems

  • Assist the Operations team through various activities, such as facilitating change management meetings, assembling knowledge documents and helping with operations projects


What You'll Need
Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be actively pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Network Administration or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Self-motivated with strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvement

  • The ability to work successfully in a high-energy, fast paced, rapidly changing environment is necessary

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple processes, programs, and procedures simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines

  • Ability to quickly triage problems, identify root causes, and drive issue resolution

  • Experience with AWS, networks, or servers, a plus


Travel Requirement and Working Conditions

  • Minimal travel

  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future

Salary range in the US: $22.00 - $22.00
