You will formulate and execute deliberate strategies and tactics to identify prospective strategic clients and foster new avenues for sales growth. As a Business Development Manager with Komatsu, you'll be responsible for: Prospecting new sales opportunities through industry knowledge, contacts, trade shows, and collaboration with Komatsu personnel. Achieving sales quotas and securing recurring revenues with accurate opportunity management through company business systems. Delivering accurate and timely outputs to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. Contributing to the forecast process and developing/maintaining a comprehensive industry network. Initiating, building, and leveraging key strategic relationships. Managing the opportunity process, including account planning, territory planning, call planning, and effective opportunity management. Developing business cases, delivering technical proposals, and negotiating Annual Recurring Revenue. Conducting effective contract negotiation. Advancing targeted sales opportunities, improving regional win rates and market share, and scaling strategic relationships. Maintaining business systems and ensuring Salesforce compliance based on company policies, processes, and management directives.Required Skills Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field. 5 years of experience in the mining industry and/or mining technology. 5 years of previous account management experience, preferably relating to the mining industry. 5 years of experience in sales. Proactivity, creativity, and focus on finding the solution to challenges. Accountability. Extensive administrative skillset with attention to detail. Solid experience with CRM tools and their use, preferably with Salesforce. Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization. Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability for effective collaboration and teamwork.
