**Description** ARS is currently looking for a full-time Finance Assistant in our Beavercreek, OH office. ARS employees are motivated through our industry competitive benefits package, our awards and recognition program, and personalized attention from ARS Senior Managers. **Responsibilities:** + Assist Finance to provide start to finish financial support on ARS programs and ensure the accuracy of program data entered into Deltek Costpoint. + Assist Finance to maintain detailed Excel trackers for ARS programs containing actuals and projections that are communicated with Program Managers + Assist Finance to assess funding and project hours for each program and communicate with Program Manager and Contracts to request additional funding as needed + Assist Finance maintain projects in Costpoint to ensure updated funding and changes are implemented in the system + Assist Accounting and Finance complete month end close in a timely manner + Complete new employee configuration in Costpoint to guarantee employee is charging the correct project + Review and approve expense reports and expense authorizations to align with contractual requirements and proper billing + Must be a US citizen **Requirements:** + Pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance + Excel experience + Good communication skills + Ability to meet deadlines as provided + Other duties as assigned All positions at Applied Research Solutions are subject to background investigations.
