Join a team that has the environment down to a science.Your OpportunityIn this role, you will apply buildings mechanical engineering principles and communications skills to deliver project excellence to the communities we live, work, and play in. You will collaborate with architects, civil, electrical, and structural engineers to closely coordinate design solutions and present these to our clients.Your Key ResponsibilitiesApplies mechanical engineering skills, experience and knowledge to the design and oversight of the design, for building projects.Gets assigned workflow to produce the design documentation, drawings, and calculations required for mechanical engineering projects.Shares knowledge with others by serving as a resource.Meets technical, contractual, schedule, budgetary and client service objectives for each project.Develops project related client presentations.Maintains and expands current knowledge of technologies and trends, as they apply to the applicable project and market types, and continually strengthens skills.Attends client project meetings.Applies buildings engineering and project management knowledge to meet project requirements within established timeframes and budgets.Your Capabilities and CredentialsDesigning HVAC and plumbing systems for facilities and built environments.Familiarity with, and ability to produce, project-related documents and documentation standards.Ability to integrate design elements with other disciplines to deliver a coordinated design.Familiarity with and ability to apply sustainable design principles.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with owners, other disciplines involved in the project, contractors, suppliers, etc.Ability to apply logic, reasoning, and organizational skills to structure concepts and ideas into projects.Experience using BIM software; in particular, Revit MEP.Experience using AutoCAD software.Experience using Bluebeam software.Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards.Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree from an ABET accredited curriculum in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
