Responsibilities Include:

Develop completed mechanical system design documents package for construction throughout the entire design and review cycle.

Design mechanical systems such as HVAC/Piping/Plumbing/Medical Gas and Fire Suppression within new facility construction and existing facility renovation

Apply engineering judgement and critical thinking to arrive at the most efficient and economical mechanical system design

Participate in design charrettes and coordinate with other disciplines and offices, as well as other consultants and required subconsultants

Employ CAD software and other resources to prepare design plans to include REVIT, Trane Trace and other software modelling

Qualified candidates must possess the following skills, education, and experience:

BS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university

Registered Professional Engineer (an US State)

5+ years mechanical systems and piping design

Strong knowledge of state, local and federal building and plumbing codes, standards, various building systems and building MEP System

Proficient in Revit and knowledgeable in AutoCAD and/or Trane Trace or HAP 700

Ready and willing to lead and grow
