Our client is seeking a talented and self-motivated Electrical Engineer. This exciting job opportunity involves extensive involvement in R&D and new product development. Offices are in Slidell Louisiana on the beautiful Northshore near New Orleans, LA.

Responsibilities

Evaluate/modify current design for manufacturability

Develop and implement new product design

Design analog and digital circuitry

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design processes, budgets, and deadlines

Create detailed electrical schematics

Source materials for design specifications

Troubleshoot/debug new and existing hardware

Test, verify, and validate designs

Provide ongoing support to Production on design changes

Maintain complete and accurate documentation, archives, and reports

Requirements

Experience in PCB design

Experience working with microprocessors

Knowledge of communications protocols (SPI, I2C, UART)

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related degrees.

Experience with standard lab equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, etc.

Ability to read and understand schematics

Desired Skills

Experience in Altium

Experience in Eagle

Proficiency in soldering

Clear and concise documentation practices

Experience in C and/or C
