The trainee will be responsible for learning total store operations, with the ultimate goal of moving up the ladder into a manager position. Within the first 6-12 months, you can be promoted (based on performance and position availability), which can lead to up to a 40% increase in annual pay. Trainees are typically promoted to General Managers within three to four years. Manager Trainees must complete learning plan and course of study as outlined within the assigned time frame and must be willing to relocate for management position. Responsibilities: Sales in a retail environment Freight handling and forklift training, certification, and operation Creating material estimates from blueprints Maintaining and merchandising store inventory Payroll, Invoicing, Inventory and POS Systems Microsoft Office Suite (previous experience preferred) Interpreting and analyzing common financial reports Reading blueprints and creating material lists Responding to common inquiries or complaints from customers Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 84 Lumber Company is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.
